Use drugs
Nolvadex is used to treat breast cancer that has spread to other places in the body. It is also used with other medicines to treat other types of breast cancer. It is used in women who are at high risk of breast cancer in women with DCIS (after surgery and radiation) to reduce the risk of breast cancer. It can also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
How Taken
Take Nolvadex without prescription with a glass of water by your doctor. Take Nolvadex with or without food. This medicine is swallowed whole. Do not break, crush, or chew before swallowing. I continue to take Nolvadex even if you feel well. Do not miss any doses. Taking Nolvadex at the same time each day will help you remember to take it.
Missed dose
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up missed.
